'The proposals in this document aim to make London a safe city in every aspect including in our homes', writes the Mayor in his foreword to the second London Domestic Violence Strategy, published in November 2005. The strategy builds on the progress of recent years in tackling domestic violence in London. It sets out the next stages of addressing the issue and details specific steps that will take us further.
