Mental Health and NHS law

Fisher Meredith's mental health team has a strong interest in advising and representing clients subject to compulsory detention under the Mental Health Act. In the near future, a new Mental Capacity and Mental Health Act will become law. With the passing of these Acts of Parliament, the team will be able to advise clients on their rights under the Acts and mount legal challenges to decisions which interfere with their human rights.
